In early June 2026, the World of Opinions for Surveys team successfully completed the data collection phase for the Prediction of Vitamin D Deficiency and the Vitamin D Intake and Sun Exposure (VDIP) Tool Survey among adult women in the State of Kuwait.
This important national epidemiological study, led by researcher Dalia Qarqour, is being conducted through a collaboration between Kuwait University and the American University of Kuwait (AUK). The study aims to develop innovative, preventive, and cost-effective diagnostic solutions to help reduce the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency.
The survey targeted a broad and representative sample of Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti women residing in the State of Kuwait, aged 18 years and above, covering all six governorates of the country.
