This field study was conducted in cooperation with the Gulf Opinions Center for Polls during August and September 2014. It sought to achieve several objectives, most notably:
- Measuring the extent to which Kuwaiti citizens follow and engage with electronic media.
- Assessing the impact of electronic media on Kuwaiti citizens.
- Determining the degree of acceptance within Kuwaiti society regarding laws regulating electronic media.
- Identifying the electronic sources that most influence Kuwaiti citizens, among other goals.
More than thirty male and female field researchers worked on the project, in addition to the study’s advisory and scientific committee.
