Advisor in Institutional Research, Organizational Effectiveness, and Program Evaluation, an experienced professional in institutional research, data analysis, performance evaluation, and strategic planning. She currently serves as Director of Institutional Research & Effectiveness at Guilford College, where she leads the institution’s data collection and analysis initiatives to support evidence-based decision-making, evaluate academic and administrative programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Dr. Morais holds a Ph.D. in Global Affairs from Rutgers University–Newark, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Global Affairs from the same institution. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Music from Millikin University.
Prior to joining Guilford College, Dr. Morais served as a Senior Manager at a consulting firm specializing in the advancement of public administration practices. During her tenure, she contributed to numerous projects focused on organizational performance improvement, data management, evaluation systems development, and impact measurement. She also brings extensive experience in project management, governance, applied research, and the use of data to support policy development and informed decision-making.
Her professional and research interests focus on advancing institutional research systems, performance measurement, data analytics, program evaluation, and the application of evidence-based practices to support strategic planning and decision-making, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of institutional quality and effectiveness.
