She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Generation1.ca, a Canadian social enterprise dedicated to empowering newcomers through data-driven insights, inclusive innovation, and community engagement. Through her leadership, Generation1.ca has established itself as a platform that advances evidence-based solutions while placing newcomers at the forefront of data and insights innovation across North America.
In addition to her leadership in the nonprofit and social innovation sectors, Arundati is a Professor of Business, Data, Analytics, and Insights at Humber Polytechnic and the University of Guelph-Humber, where she teaches and mentors future professionals in data analytics, business intelligence, and evidence-based decision-making. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Program Advisory Board for the Marketing Research and Analysis Program at Algonquin College, contributing to the development of industry-aligned academic programs.
A recognized expert in data privacy and responsible artificial intelligence, Arundati serves on the Certification Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s largest professional community dedicated to information privacy. She was also a member of the expert team that launched the world’s first Artificial Intelligence Governance Certification Program, contributing to the advancement of global standards in AI governance and ethical technology.
