Registration Open for The Fifth Program for Exploring the U.S. Experience in Humanitarian Research and Leadership – 13-24 November 2024

Field visits and direct engagement with programs and projects are highly effective methods for transferring expertise and gaining valuable experience. They provide opportunities to establish relationships with practitioners and experts across various fields. In humanitarian, charitable, and non-profit work, learning from the experiences of different communities is crucial, as they often share common goals and approaches within the global humanitarian sector. So; This field program comes from the World of Opinions Center to learn about the American experience in Humanitarian Management Leadership during November 2024.

This field program is designed to provide insights into the practices of humanitarian institutions and research bodies specializing in the charitable and non-profit sectors in the United States. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend the largest annual global gathering, which convenes experts and enthusiasts in this field.

The United States was selected as the program’s implementation site for several reasons:

  1. The presence of thousands of humanitarian organizations, charities and donor institutions contributed to the formation of an interactive environment.
  2. The existence of Islamic humanitarian organizations and institutions with many contributions at the global level.
  3. It contains the largest number of think tanks and studies in the world, including centers related to humanitarian and non-profit work.
  4. Diversity, difference, and specialization in organizations in the United States, which makes it even more important to learn about their experiences.
  5. Hosting international organizations for charitable work such as ISTR and ARNOVA, which have contributed significantly to the impact and development of this sector.
  6. The program is organized by World of Opinions Center (WoO), which has been actively involved in the American arena by organizing dozens of field programs in the United States, under the supervision of Dr. Samir Abu Rumman who is currently residing in the United States, he is a visiting research professor at George Mason University and formerly at Princeton University.
